This has been proved in one of the episodes where even at the gunpoint Fernando Sucre does not provide any of the information of the whereabouts of his friend Michael Scufield.

Fernando Sucre even has the ability of making an exceptional but the effective and efficient strategies at different point of times. He successfully managed to cover up the hole which Michael’s group dug up for escaping from the prison. In the season one Fernando Sucre tries to understand the situation of Michael Scufield and the anxiety for his brother Lincoln Burrows.
